Floating Reminiscence2026

This work stems from a re-examination of my memories of home. Over the past few years, rituals—Spring Festivals, the passing of loved ones, weddings—have acted like fragile threads, keeping me tethered to that land.

The video narrates my experience of returning home for my grandfather’s funeral. It stirred a flood of memories: of my grandfather, of the islanders, and of my own childhood. At the same time, it led me to contemplate the very nature of death.
