As the audience arrives at the entrance of the air-raid shelter, following the sounds emanating from nature, they traverse through a damp, dim, and grimy space to reach the depths of the shelter. Here, they will encounter a patch of grass bathed in sunlight. Sunlight seeps through a small hole in the wall and, after being refracted by mirrors, illuminates the grass. The music resembles natural sounds, yet it is all synthesized. The entire piece creates a utopian space within the air-raid shelter, where familiar scenes undergo displacement and are placed within such an environment.
